What's A Good Ranger Dungeon Build?
I use this one: http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fMAQRBMRdG2JSF9VWFkkFsWII6CYPOkiQ0TR6Vv/goS5JloqVA;TsAA1CtoKyUkoIbRuikFtEZIyGEA
Not power focused at all but errs toward crits, boon sharing (& boosting) with your pet and decent survivability as long as you arent decked out in full dps gear (you shouldn’t be anyway). The skills/weapons can be changed up to suit the situation as your pet will dish out plenty of damage regaurdless.
Rock the feline and devourer of your choice and watch the crits roll in. By putting more of a bias on pet dmg it frees you up to be very mobile without compromising your dps. It does require a bit of pet management in terms of pulling them out of AoE, hence I have attack/retreat mapped to my left and right mouse side buttons. Also mapping your heal skill to your middle mouse is all kinds of win on every class.
In most dungeons you will get away with a high dps skill setup but for tougher fractals and exp modes you might want to swap rampage as one for the spirit and throw in some sigs to toughen the pet up a bit. Healing spring vs troll’s really depends if your teammates are going down quicker than your pets, give the healing to whomever needs it most. Generally in the tougher areas your team will benefit more from HS and with Fortifying Bond any regen etc, you get will be automatically shared with your pet regaurdless of where they are.
Works for me across all of the content. You can even modify it a bit skills wise and take it to pvp with reasonable success.
Hope it helps!
Your link is baaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

^ This.
Swap muddy terrain for Sig of Renewal when conditions are heavy.
If you don’t need a stun removal, Sharpening Stone works.
Some pets work better for certain situations (such as a brown bear on a condition fight, jaguar on a fight where pets take very little damage, etc.), so swap them out as needed.
There are some other viable options for which Skirmishing and WS talents you pick up, such as Carnivorous Appetite, Primal Reflexes, Hide in Plain Sight, etc., so you can always change those if you really like one of those instead of what is here, but the point allocation gives you a solid balance of power, survival, and condition damage.
Also, I have centaur runes since they’re so useful for travel, but if you really want something optimal for dungeons, there are other options.
Thanks guys!
I’ll give those builds a try.
