While I’m not a ranger player myself, I came across the hilarious ranger pet (spider) named “Peter Parker.” What’s yours?

When I’m in dungeons, my two bears have their designated names:

Brown Bear: Sir Fluffington
Polar Bear: Fluffaluffagus

Admiral Paw – Brown bear.
Captain Breeze – Polar bear.

They enjoy tanking explorable bosses, and the odd instant death from Aoe circles, they can often be stubborn and not return to me when I spam “F3” because they are higher ranking than me… Together they lead the last hope of the Twelve Colonies, to which they have migrated from their ancestral homeworld of Tyria. The Twelve Colonies have warred for decades with a magical race known as the Dragons, whose goal is the extermination of the Bear race.

I try to have somewhat serious names most of the time, but I named my wolf pet Three Wolf Moon, and I’m never changing that.

My two bears are named “Bear With Me” and “Unbearable”

“Juvenile brown bear” i piss my pants whenever i summon it.

My bear is named “Illllllllllllll” so that I can easily identify it in a crowd.

Wolf: Huffenpuff
Lynx: Mr Meowgi

Raven: Thats So Raven
Owl: Hedtoupet

I call my spiders “Charles”, wolves “Jeffrey”, bears “Toby”, and raven “Poe” in PvE. In PvP I replace “Juvenile” with “Champion” or “Veteran”. From what I’ve seen, veteran gets the best response. Enemy players tend to attack it much less.

Also, I sometimes name my jaguar Facebook. Coz his special skill is Stalk-ing ;D AH, I get too much amusement of naming my pets… wish the names would stick though.

My charr ranger’s pets are named:

Warthog – Grubbz
Murellow – Stinkmeaner
Shark – Chompz
Armored Fish – Chubbz
Cave Spider – Creepz
Siamoth – Teefz
Devourer – Caltrop
Owl – Count Snackula (it picks off random insects, bunnies, and rats…)
Crimson Moa – Tudez

My wish is to have my crab pet back from gw1. I named it Crabcake. I loved him dearly. There was just something in the way it attacked that made him seem so spunky.

Spider’s are Not a bot & I hate bot’s
white moa is bojangles
shark is jaw’s (very generic)
jaguar is ravage (all hail transformer’s G1)

I just call my bears Cody and Kenny and my dog/wolf Desmond and Lucy…
Their my friends, not some stupid jokes!

I don’t know how sPvP handles it, but in WvW, your pet’s name wouldn’t have any effect. WvW doesn’t display the player or pet name. In the case of pets, you just see the server’s name, whether or not they are an invader or defender (based on the map), and the word “beast.”

My wolf’s name is Bob. I don’t know why. Whenever I play a pet class, one of my pets gets named Bob.

My spiders get named either Legs or Gams.

My armor fish is named Aquarium, because he is a fish tank.

In any dungeon, I’ll sometimes name my pets after party members.

So far Lawn Moa definitely wins… I laughed out loud to that one. Very clever, nice!

I have an eagle named Freedom.

I have a devourer I named Mini Siege Devourer, so it’s to scale with other minis. (I try to pick minis that match Ranger pets and Necro minions.)

My armor fish is named Abaddon since it looks like him.

I called my brown bear “Beary You Alive”.

On my original ranger, I named pets by holding a contest in Map chat whenever I tamed one. The first response that didn’t risk Terms of Service violation got accepted, no matter what it was. My Guildmates named my Fern Hound since the Sylvari Tutorial was pretty quiet when I made the character, and Map Chat named everybody else. All was going well until the Snow Leopard, when Hoelbrak map chat decided it was sick of me I guess. When I pick my Ranger back up, I’ll probably start doing this again.

My fern hound is Foliage and my eagle is Death from Above….Other than that my spiders are named after nuts….Walnut, Pecan, etc…

I had a Black Moa named “Cluck Norris” and a Polar Bear named “Bear Naked”
