Do they have pinpoint portal skills that would put any Mesmer to shame?

Maybe they follow you around inconspicuously, possessing a stealth timer that would make any Thief weep?

Where does your ranger pet go when it’s stowed away?

I like to think that rangers have their own personal Zhaitan Menagerie hidden away, either in their home instance or some parallel Battle Isles where they can call in their pets.

I think they’re meant to be roaming quietly in the distance, foraging noms since we never seem to feed them…

Actually, that makes me curious: do pets benefit from our food buffs? It would be awesome flavor if: 1. They did, and 2. The buff showed up on their panel when you target them. As if we share our food with them when we eat it :-D

Animal cruelty aside, I’ve also wondered where my characters keep their five backpacks. ‘o.O But that’s a whole ’nother can of worms!

Just use the DnD option: pocket dimension.
I mean, what do you think are these “Greater runes of holding”?
which leads to another question: If bags are pocket dimension, does my inventory collapse when I try to put a pocket dimension into another?

From 2017’s April 1’s patch:
*Ranger pets now require food. Failing to feed your pet will cause them to leave your kennel.
It seems like all rangers do have kennels for their pets, if we can trust anything from the patch notes at all.

Oh my god. The hotkey for the pet menu is K. It’s for Kennel. I’ve always wondered.
