What nerfs? So many people complaining about nerfs but on the update page on the wiki all I see is the nerf on the smokescale but there seems to be more.. I feel left out >.>

-Celestial Form now doesn’t charge energy from healing while you’re using it.
-It’s much harder to charge energy in general.
-It has a 9 seconds cooldown.
-You can use it only when it’s at full energy.
-Energy evaporates when out of combat.
Ranger got nerfed FOUR TIMES on a single mechanic at the same time.
1) 10s cooldown to enter AF
2) Reduced AF charging
3) Reduced time while in AF
4) Out of combat AF degeneration
It defies logic and has the community rightly upset.
Anet kittening over Rangers, business as usual, everyone can move on.

As Ranger’s we are used to nerf’s.
The main problem by far is that the energy depleats out of combat. It is not fun at all compared to BWE!
Celestial avatar should be availible when first entering combat and it should stay at the position it was when you get downed. The way it worked in the beta was perfect, and the needed nerf to base heal and a CD for celestial avatar have been added! Note: the way it is now reaching the avatar CD is only possible in large scale with staff, where you can hit 5 allies+5 enemies constanly, thus gaining alot of celestial energy. In small scale (spvp, solo pve, roaming, few friends runing arround) the auto depletion of celesital energy, combined with harder to fill up the bar, makes it not fun at all and a problem! This can lead into many fights back to back, where you can’t use celestial avatar, because the time inbetween fights depleats the bar, while the fights alone lasted too shortly to be able to fill up the bar and use it!
I didn’t want to say it, but I had high hopes in Irenio, and this is a huge let down. Please revert this change and don’t wait months fort he fix.
Great expansion otherwise Anet, at least the new pve zones, they are actually a blast!

Celestial Avatar was better as the living equivalent of the death shroud. Now it is a poorly implemented adrenaline style skill that is harder to fill in spvp.
Most likely for PvP balance.
I’m starting to think that it was actually good that I did not participate in any BWE – thanks to that I have not seen how druid performed earlier and that let me enjoy playing it now ^^

it was BAD in teamPvP in ranked on all BWE and now it goes Worse than it was.
I played druid in the bwe, and I loved it! I was excited for this new mechanic. I switched from ele main to ranger in that period, because I finally saw a light in the end of the tunnel….Then this. Every single aspect of astral force was nerfed to the ground, EVERY. You can’t even build it anymore unless you have insane healing power, it degrades out of combat, it has a 10s cd, you need a full bar to enter it, and it doesn’t even fill up when in it AND YOU ARE HEALING. It has ZERO synergy with the other specialization lines too. This is just garbage tier now, sorry. Bring back the bwe druid, please. Keep the current changes in pvp even if that is a problem, just give us back the old druid in pve.
CA might be a failure anyway.
The aiming of the skills is still horrible. It can only heal, daze and remove conditions on targets that stand still (CA1, CA2, CA3).
Only CA5 deals damage and it’s just terrible. The damage is extremely low, even in full ascended Berserker stats, and you are immobile and can easily be interrupted while doing it. I’m starting to wonder if the damage scales with healing power or something.
The only great skill on it is Rejuvenating Tides (CA4). Which is exactly what I use as a secondary heal for myself and to heal allies. Yes I’ll mash 1, 2 and 3 while CA4 is on cooldown, sure.
Being in CA leaves much to be desired. Again, CA4 is excellent. CA3 is ok-ish and the rest is just terrible.
I don’t even consider it an option to heal allies unless I am right next to them so I can use CA4. But I can’t tell who needs a heal because there are no health bars for allies in open world play, so I never use it.
