I can’t see a reasoning for this and it is a huge pain trying to do jumping puzzles. Every time I take a little fall damage my pet pops out and wont get out of my way again. Having him out just means he is likely to aggro something, forcing combat and crippling my jumping performance, not to mention being visibly distracting.
