They’ve been releasing a new legendary weapon with each major patch, another legendary longbow will come eventually.
Legendary Weapons will continue to be released past the expansions launch according to devs if I remember right.

If the last living story of season 3 is not the gen 2 legendary longbow, then we are going to wait even longer. Maybe in a year.
Just saying.
I’ve already saved every thing I could think of that would go into a legendary longbow. Have like 500 of the refined woods and metals and 500 of the unrefined, tons of the time gated ascended things, thousands of ectos… I’m ready anet.
yea, im pretty much in the same boat with materials for the new scepter. have tons of materials stockpiled and just waiting because the weapons are coming out too slowly. Scepter aside, I am really curious what the longbow will be like.

I tried to think of a scepter I would like better than Meteorlogicus, and came up empty. I should probably put it on my “to make someday” list.
Hoping for a “cool” longbow this time. But the new shortbow isn’t giving me much hope. The new shortbow is huge. The projectile is cool tho.
