Would you take this trait?
If there was a BM trait that would cause your pet to cast an AoE fear (similar to the wolf F2) whenever you used “Search and Rescue” to start reviving an ally, would you take it?
If you would, how many points in BM would you be willing to invest for this? (10, 20, or 30)
*This is primarily from a PvP perspective
**Also, this would only trigger if/when the pet actually started reviving an ally.
If that’s ALL it did? No, if it also buffed up other shouts? Absolutely, EX: All Shouts have an added effect. Protect Me! Could be prot + retal on you and your pet, Sick’Em could give AoE fury and might, Guard could give Aegis to all allies in the radius, maybe slap and ICD on that one per ally shrugs

I like it, except for the aegis on guard. Aegis on a 12s CD would be pretty powerful.
It is not what you do, but how and why you do it that counts.

that’s why i said to put an ICD on it, so Guard could only apply Aegis to a unique ally once every, lets say 30s? So in WvW it’d be more useful than in 5man stuff because every time you cast it it could apply on 5 people who aren’t under the effects of the ICD yet, make sense? Kinda like how spirits work, the spirit will apply the buff to players who aren’t under the ICD of the buffs effect.
IE: If you can’t proc the Aegis, the skill will try to apply the Aegis to someone who can.

I think something that may be even better than aegis is lower the duration of protection the pet gives to say 5 or 6s and give it to the ranger and maybe 5 nearby allies. One can dream though, however there is no question our shouts do need some work done to them.
