Guild Wars 2

A steam pet similar in aesthetic to the steam creatures in and around Lornar’s Pass. The F2 ability would be to summon a smoke field. What type of pet would this be? I would vote for like steam wolf.

Having that utility to stealth would be very nice imo.

I want a breeze rider pet

They need to offer a pet that would match the “no pet” option people want. Maybe a ferret that sits on your shoulder and offers buffs rather then attacks.

that way they dont have to add a “no pet” mechanic they can just do this and have abilities like

1- Hunters agility-50% on dodge roll to apply 4 seconds of stability
2- Face Rake- 5% on hit to cause 2 second Blind. (15 second cool down)

something to this effect – Keep in mind , this pet cannot attack at all. But can still be used for guard,protect me, but shouts like Sik em! could affect the Ranger instead.

just an off the cuff answer to a new pet and the people who want no pet.

It’s enough if it’d be smoke field, so we could leap with sword or GS to gain stealth.

Can I second this?

The f2 should surround you in steam(the pet) and create smokey after images of you and the pet when you move and attack. So basically buffs your stats, but removes the pet temporarily.

While I would love to see a smoke field providing pet, the thought of a juvenile mech is funny :P

Steam pets… Well, mechanical pets would be nice move..
Maybe engineers should spawn them, however…

There is a HUGE list of possible pets.
Personally, I would skirmish with a big male lion & a minotaur.
But I’m forced to use charrs as pets right now xD
