Plot Twist: Elder Dragons are massive robots created by the Black Lion Trading Company.
Think of the money they make off weapons and armor…
I plan to LV 80 my ranger next and I was trying this build. It seems good, but I would really like some feed back. The idea is to dodge and swap weapons constantly throughout the fight to increase DPS. Rapid Fire’s DPS with crits taken into consideration seems really good. If you get in trouble, utility skills should help you. The only purpose of the pets is to tank so they can survive “Protect Me” and all the conditions transferred to them.

Looks like it would be a bit too easily killed, but if you’re on top of your evades, perhaps not. One suggestion – in Skirmishing you have Strider’s Defense chosen, which with your build, gives you nothing. I would suggest going with Spotter instead – this gives you 7% greater Crit chance, which is more in line with your build.
Everything what Anthrage says +1
Lack of mobility means you’ll either be in a zerg or humping friendly keeps/stonemist. If you don’t mind that then the build should work ok.
Like roamzero said, the mobility will mess you up for roaming, but you could potentially fix that with druid. Wilderness survival is not that critical to your build; SoR and druidic clarity (just run around with full AF before fights) is plenty of condi removal for being ranged. Then you also get the rather awesome natural stride and ancient seeds.
And another variant you could mess around with is the more typical staff + LB. It’s sort of against the core of your build, but it’s so simple to change between the two it could prolong your enjoyment of roaming. In that case you might throw in some gylphs or make other minor changes.
Thanks everybody!!! I think I will remove WS, but not sure if I’m going to go Druid.
If you don’t want to use druid, BM is an extremely solid choice (maybe even better than druid.) You can get swiftness from traited shouts and WHaO.
