So today I theorycrafted a little and came up with this:

This build should mainly focus on Solo roaming and camp flipping.
with boons you can get up to: ~2700 effective Power
~3645 effective armor with prot (~90% uptime in best
case scenario)
38% crit chance without Fury and 72% crit dmg with
food

For me it sounds Pretty cool on paper, but what do you think? Can this actually work?

This could very well work, but there are a couple of things that might get you in trouble. I think you’ll be moving to slowly. Without more healing power or toughness you’ll get cut down by other roamers or small groups. A solution might be to put in superior runes of the traveler.

Also, one reason trap build work so well for flipping camps is all of the indirect damage. When you’re flipping alone, the blind from the two veteran scouts becomes pretty annoying. Evasive purity would help with that.

thought of evasive purity as well, but since it only triggers every ten seconds i dont see many uses for roaming.
Rune of the traveler would cut down my sustain quite a bit since i lose 20% prot duration + the 10 sec prot when i fall below 50% health.
for the movement speed i could just switch out the frost trap while traveling since it won’t help much against other roamers i suppose. they will just step out.
Another way to cleanse conditions could be hs, do you think it would work better if i change it this way?

That sounds like a plan. I do often get surprised while I’m flipping camps, which is why I like to have signet of the hunt all the time.

What about if you switched the axe off hand for a war horn? It would give you an extra blast finisher for frost armor, or healing in your HS. You’d have the leap finisher on one weapon set and the blast finisher on the other. It would also give you some swiftness if you need to disengage quickly and help you with your fury up time.

since i face so many lb rangers and pistol/dagger, pistol/pistol thiefs that dont know how to stop attacking, i found whirling defense and the rataliation it provides to be pretty useful. But then again, its pretty useless against good players and people that are aware of the axes pull. i will give them both a try and see which one works better and especially in which situation. maybe horn for small scaled fights and 1v1, and axe for flipping because of the great burst with path and a good aoe damage with the following whirling defense. i will see how it will work out.
