WvW build not full healer?
If you go for something as … LB+Staff; Power, Preci, Healing, Vita stats, you should get what you are looking for.
I’d like someone else to second me on this or prove it wrong since I have never really played WvW much…
Could something like this do ? Technically a mid-range poker with on demand AoE stun+stun-break that can stealth his allies with Celestial Shadow and Staff#3 + Smokescale combo?
From one of my other posts just a minute ago, here is what I use when dancing around the back line. If you are good at staying back with situational awareness (avoiding pesky thief) you can try this. I have pretty good success with it. Staff could work instead of GS if you want to generate AF.
Somewhat berserker
Troll Unguent
Lighting reflexes
Glyph of equality
Quicken Zypher
Strength of the pack
Wilderness Survival: 2, 3, 2
Marksmen: 3, 3, 3
Druid 1, 3, 3
Celestial armor, durability runes, berserker accessories. GS/LB berserker sigils of your choice.

From my other post a day ago:
What made my build a succes for me, not at my pc so of the top of my head as best as I can:
Armor soldiers. Exuberance runes
Staff clerics (main heal)
Axe/WH zerker (when zerg isn’t in need of healing or u want to buff or blast with wh)
Trinkets clerics.
I would prolly make trinkets minstrels now if I’d still play wvw zerg
Heal as one
Glyph of empowerment
Daze or knockback glyph or protect me
Signet of the wild
Rampage as one
Druid: cult energy – verd etching – gotl
Skirmishing: primal refl – spotter – quick draw
Beast Mastery: resound timbre – wilt strike – honed axes.
Pets: Bristleback (tanky and ok vs moving)
poison field devourer or a bear, because poison field and tanky
All other pets die too quickly in zergs or blobs, dead pet is useless pet, that’s why these choices
I found it a good front to mid-line hybrid build, capabel of dealing dmg, healing and buffing
Since you want a mid to backline build, consider zerker lb instead of axe wh, and swap beastmastery for markmanship, then maybe also swapping heal as one for glyph rejuvenation
you’ve got plenty of choices
use Marauder (offensive), Wander (Defensive) or a mix between the two even a bit of cleric/Zealot if you want some healing power. Just customize it based on how comfortable you are
Durability Runes (earth runes until you get them)
use any mix of Staff, LB, GS, A-WH, SW-WH with fire, Blood or Air sigils
use Marks (if using LB), NM (not using LB), Druid, WS,
WHaO, LR, QZ or MT or somthing else, SoS, SotP
Bears, Drakes or spiders for pets
you need to have LR utility as immob/Stun is the main reason you will die but you don’t need Wilderness knowledge for it to work it just better if you do
GS front line:“http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vNAQJARWjUqQLL2wC+rAXLWyEsmkVA4AAPT7pDVnCXCoxlxRe+KC-TlSBQBW4BAAgLAg/0B8gjAwEOEAnSTgHV+5Q1f23+DvUJIpA8aMA-w”
Thank you, guys!! Ill try them out and see with what I feel comfortable
Also to re-emphasize what Eggyokeo said about immob/stun breakers or CC in general. lightening reflex is pretty important. I use it on my DPS moving build and it really comes in handy. Handy unless you panic and just mash it without understanding your comfort level of course
In the WvW space Druids are pretty solid. Borderland maps are a romper room of a playground with lots of areas to engage/disengage in the Ruin area. High and lows with quick escape routes when necessary. I would highly encourage you to learn them if you don’t already. A lot of the frustration from other players below or average come from not knowing how to handle our class.
A good player will and lock you down tighter than a natts kitten and make short work of you. The flip side is a group of ten ignorant players will chase you up and down the map sending whispers of love and hate while you pick the right place to engage and knock them one by one to their death feeling like the best Druid in the world…
Peace.

Then I would like to emphasize the importance of stability, especially since we’re talking zerg- and blob-fighting.
Being it via skills or by good squad compositioning.
i like sb\staff.
but yeah to have around 600 healing power is a sweet spot for a roaming\zerg druid.
I’m really liking Eggyokeo’s builds. Maybe some minor changes for personal preference but I think they’re really good. I would recommend them to anyone. Allthough I haven’t played them, I think they look very good on paper
Only thing I’m not sure about are pet choices.
And I would really swap steady focus for brutish seals in the MM-line in WvW in the first and second build

I’d think this would be fine if you’re fighting backline as a “sniper”. There used to be sniper duties in zerg- and blob-fights, where snipers were ordered to snipe down the commander or other key figures.

Wouldn’t Marksmanship for Lead the Wind be needed in that case?
Instead of Nature Magic, I guess.
No lie, I just run Zealots, Zealots/Clerics, or Zealots/Celestial, depending on my mood. I “frontline” (we run a sustain comp so the concept of frontline/midline/backline is sort of lost, since we move as one group regardless) with my Druid. It’s primary priority is to heal/buff in a group setting, sure, but I use the gearing for roaming and 1v1ing, and I “tag and bag” just fine with my Druid, with caster sniping being fairly easy. Staff/LB or Staff/GS. I pick based on mood/preference. Though I think the staff/lb is better for 1v1 between the 2.
