Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone!

After toying around with an engineer now for 26 levels, I’ve come to realize that other than the duel-pistol condition build, I pretty much don’t like the class nor do I see it all that effective in PvP. It’s fun at times but if I make one mistake, I’m toast. For that reason, I’ve been considering rerolling into a LB/melee ranger though I don’t have a clue where to start. I tested a full melee ranger with GS/S+D and it was a ton of fun though again, limited when it comes to WvW.

With all that being said, do you all have some good advice on how to build a LB/melee ranger? Should I go with the GS or stick with something else? Also, can you please link a build for me? What other advice can you give me about this class? From what I’ve seen, it has some great potential and survivability if you know what you’re doing.

I apologize for all the questions as I’m just not sure what road I want to take in this game. I love my lvl 80 mesmer but something just feels like it’s “missing” and the engineer just feels like someone painted a huge target on my head. Sorry, I can’t explain it better than that.
