I just defeated the treasure mushroom which has the spore for the collection, but once i got it, it didn’t count for the yggdrasil collection, it’s like i never got it in the first place is this some kind of bug or something?

have you unlocked other elite specializations? if you do, it gives the mushroom collectable to only the first elite spec, in alphabetical order. and Yggdrasil starting with a Y, naturally means it’s later on the list. it took me 3 mushroom kills until I got the one for Yggdrasil

I see, that’s why it didn’t count, that really is frustrating, i guess i should kill more of those, thanks

I’m going to say yes because last night I got the mushroom, and I didn’t see nor kill any treasure mushrooms. Don’t even have stealth detection. The reward was part of the VB reward package for participating.

Go figure . . . but I’m not complaining.

I farmed the event at queensdale several times, I farmed a lot of oakhearts in queensdale and gendarren. None seems to drop.

When I was trying to get the exotic for my mesmer shield collection, it drops from the first steam creature I killed. Don’t know why this one is so hard. Is it possible it is bugged as well?

Tried on bloomhunger, still no luck.

I got the Nature Spirit after farming Oakhearts for 1h in Harathi Hinterlands.

It took me also some time, farming oakhearts on Queensdale(around the corrupted oakheart boss, when he’s up, kill him as well). Took me back to WoW times

Had the same problem when I was helping my wife. Seem to take forever for it to drop. We farmed the trees in Queensdale. The ironic part? When I went to do it, it dropped from the first tree I killed.

So, yes, it’s quite random.

I got the Nature Spirit in just 3 Oakhearts killed in Hinterland, Queendale has too many ppl hunting around so it kinda hard to get the item.

For the mushroom i have to kill like 5 to get the right collection

The worst path for me is the Machined Weapon i have to complete 2 hours chain event in DS to get what i want and it’s RNG but luckily i got it

Final item i need is the Auric Stone, right now i try to grind as much as i can to get Exalted Gathering

Next will be Glint’s Bastion…
