You’re not a Ranger if…

-You haven’t run Twilight Arbor F/F and then screamed at your pet when it runs through the instant-kill, projectile-absorbing barriers around the archers in the archer room and subsequently died.
-Swap out your dead pet for the other one, enter a portal to another archer, and watch the second pet do the same thing as the first

And my personal favourite:
-Used sword #2’s evade and leap skills as a means to run away from a WvW zerg trying to kill you and only you.

- being asked if you’re a bearbow in a pug when you have on sword/axe and jungle stalker

I tell people when I join their parties I run triple bear + longbow 4 and Fist + Dagger. They usually laugh.

I renamed my Ranger to “My Sword Roots Me” hoping anet might finally realize (almost a year and a half later) that the forced movement on an auto chain is less than ideal in PvE.

Bear bow
Someone who use the bear for tanking and pewpew from a distance with it’s bow…

Despised because
1) Bear deals no damage
2) Ranged weapons, in general, are sub-par DPS-wise
3) No buffs gained or shared when at a distance…

if you havent used lightning reflexes to interrupt the main sword skills

I see. i never really liked the bear tbh. The jaguar was my favorite for the stalk ability and it always seemed to crit better.

You’re an Engineer, you are in fact and Engineer.

You’re not a ranger if…

-You haven’t gotten stunned and tried to activate Lightning Reflexes, only to see that it’s also affected by stuns, even though it is CLEARLY marked as a stunbreak.

Your not a ranger if-
You cannot cc yourself by auto attacking

-You haven’t named your pet the same as yourself and people attack said pet and call you a “Cheater” who “Uses a invulnerability hack”.

-You are not completely disgusted by how horrible the CDI went.
