ZERK RANGER ROAMING w/ COMMENTARY
Hi Biklen – Thanks for taking the time to put together, comment, and share. I think you summed up one of the key factors in using a Long Bow with a Druid/Ranger. In most of the fights, I think all actually, you are out numbered and used stealth and CA well. Again, good job. Some feedback if you are interested.
1. Collect more footage and pick fights with better players. Yes, I am probably nit picking but some of the players I’d say are not on the same skill level has you It is WvW and I did point out you are showing out numbered fights so maybe it is a moot point.
2. P.E.T.A does not approve the selective targeting and assassination of near by ambient creatures to gain stealth or an advantage of your fight club! Just kidding. That is a pro tip and glad you highlighted it. I’m sure those who chased you probably put their hands / palms on their forehead and let out a heavy and deep sigh – lol. Rule #2 in WvW – don ’t chase!
3. Pet management – couple times it looked like you didn’t trigger your pet to attack. I don’t think it mattered but a few times they could have finished the player off and let you swap targets.
Needless to say it was enjoyable and I think highlighted the style of play someone new to the game or trying a new trait/build could learn something from. So kudo’s to you.

Lol this is a very funny reply. Ty for the reply
Awesome gameplay. Have you had trouble with reflects? I’ve been wanting to revisit the longbow but I’ve been told that it isn’t as effective against the increased reflect uptime that came with elite specs.

I can’t speak for the OP but I’ll say this – if you have good situational awareness reflects will not be an issue.
On the other hand, Druid / Ranger who use Rapid Fire blindly reap what they sow

ive been maining longbow druid for years now and yea, after the elite specs its gotten a bit harder to manage reflections since theres just so many of them. but honestly , the only thing you ever need to be careful about is scrappers. they have lots of it so youre gonna have to go in melee range to deal effective dmg on them. other than that, youre still fine against other classes. sometimes mesmers can be a bit of a pain since they have blocks invuln’s and reflects, but the duration is not too long unlike scrapper, so you will be ok if youre careful with your timing. the key is your weapon swap rotation.
if they have not used reflects in a while, you might want to be careful about swapping to your bow. you have to bait them into popping reflects.
Yea bro I agree with mostly what you said. But still tough when you are fighting multi scrapper. 1vs1 they are beatable but not in pvp when they are 2 scrapper and 1 ele. Almost impossible. Thats when you have to our rotate them
Nice fights trying the build atm and having quite a lot of fun with it^^
what food are you using for roaming?
