Zealots vs Sareph/Apotho (healing)
Condition builds, even supportive ones, require condition duration food as well as two proper condition weapon sets to utilize Quick Draw fully or to make any noticeable difference within the overall DPS.
That added condition damage doesn’t make much a difference when used with only staff and without condition duration food, runes, sigils, etc. It is even worse in your case as all you would use it for is a tiny damage increase with Sun Spirit burn ticks. You will also no longer have that additional 1.4k power from your Zealot gear. You could even say that that power does more than a tiny bit of condition damage.
Besides, Zealot would work much better if you practiced squeezing out some sword DPS between the healing. It isn’t the set to use if you are camping staff mostly, but neither is any condition damage based set.
In any case, sounds like Magi would fit you best.Because at the end of the day, personal damage as a supportive druid is far less important than keeping up buffs and providing the healing.
Thanks for the input Henry!
I had a feeling that other people passed on the condition support idea. I do run sword as my secondary weapon for the evades, but I passed on magi gear since it seems like I always over-heal anyone that doesn’t dodge my heals . (Freakin’ heal dodgers!!!!!! :-) ) I mostly look for personal DPS so I’m not a complete slacker when running around doing world stuff.
Thanks again!
condi ranger is not good for serious PvE openworld (farming) or fractals as it needs static targets (for the bonfire) and lots of time to build up.
most enemies will be dead before you can accumulate serious damage.
