Zerker to healer - cheapest transition?
If you want to raid – the only content, where a healer is neccessary – get magi gear. Cleric (or anything else with toughness) is not recommend, to make sure you won’t have more armor than the tank. For everything else (open world, dungeons, fractals) berserker gear is perfectly fine.
If you want to still run full berserker but have staff on swap then consider running it as magi with sigils of renewal and transfusion. Staff doesn’t really benefit from berserker stats on it immensely.
You can run Ascalonian Catacombs. The armor you get has Magi as a selectable prefix AND Monk runes.
You should be able to get ascended weapon and trinkets fairly easily. Ascended staff from the Druid elite spec collection, and trinkets from the LS3 maps.
Okay, thanks for the advice! When I get my Yggdrasil put together I’ll give it some nice healer runes. checks hmm, there are only 3 prefixes to choose from for it and Cleric’s is the lowest toughness. I’ll keep an eye out for Magi stuff though :-)

You can stat swap Yggdrasil to Magi’s at the MF, just like any ascended weapon.
Also, you could pvp for a bit of ascended gear then select magi stats.
