would be awesome if it was the new legendary longbow but really even if stormbow was even just an exotic i would be happy

it was one of the most valuble bows in GW1

If you like the lightning effects, the CoE bow/mystic bow also has electricity crackling thingies.

they dont look as good and they are really common place the electricity is just an animation the actual looks is what made it cool with the whole glowing crystal skin

Eh, the Storm bow in itself was cool, but mostly because of the prestige. Personally though, I’m not a huge fan of bows that are so sparkly/shiny/glowy/elaborate/etc. that they don’t look like they would even function. This is probably why I think bows like Eir’s Longbow (http://www.guildhead.com/item/28272/eirs-longbow-of-ice) are the best looking in the game.

Hmmm, apart from the lightning effects on the Stormbow I find it looking remarkably similar to (the Guardian’s Spirit Bow) Aether and Azureflame.

These are more like the “eternal bows” from gw1. I’d like to see stormbows too, as long as they wouldn’t cost 100 charged lodestones or 250 ectos to craft.

These bows really werent that valuable in gw1, they were common as muck. Looked cool tho, ill agree! If you want a really rare and cool lookin’ bow though, this would be my pick. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Silverwing_Recurve_Bow

stormbows were actually one of the most valuble bows in GW1 up untill nightfall came out, at which the economy crapped out, the crystalline blade was also one of the most expensive items in gw1 (however the gw2 representation of the crystalline blade does not do the gw1 version justice, neither does the gw2 version of the fellblade) the entire pricing of items changed when nightfall came out though for gw1, before hand a r9 or r8 15^50 stormbow would net you well over 100plat, lol this is really just refering to the people that played gw1 before inscribable weapons.
but another cool bow to be added would be the mursaat hornbows, the floating rock segments let me see if i can find the right one… ahah! this mursaat bow not the bonus pack bow

I must have just gotten lucky, I had an r8 15^50 my guildmate just gave me way early on. I guess niether of us really knew what it was worth, he just figured I’d like it.

Ah well, now I know!

And aye, I agree about the Mursaat bow, had one of those in my collection too. Not perfect stats but soooo pretty. Never did get that drat Silverwing Recruve though.
