A trait that is pretty good, but in the markmanship branch where the user more often than not being at least 900 (SB) and 1200-1300 for LB from the front. If it will benefit anyone, probly just other backliners. unless you giving up a good part of your range advantage. That aside, being a markmanship master will compete with 2 other good LB traits. Maybe skirmish would be more appropriate, a branch of good states but short of a few good traits.

Spotter is pretty much a PvE trait. In PvE you won’t need range or any other trait from marksmanship. If it was in any other traitline, it would cause problems on ranger meta PvE build.

I wouldn’t want a trait that increases precision in the precision line. I think its much better in the marksmanship line as then you can run lower precision gear/traits and spotter and still get a decent crit chance.

Plus, its made for group combat, so to be effective as a group buff, you will be in melee range to give it to everyone in your party (unless you are partied with 4 other LB rangers), therefore not used with the other LB traits anyway.

Its good in the marksmanship line imo, its nice to offset a lack of precision. But you are right you probably wont take it with longbow, its more for other specs. Long bow has lots of choices already.

Yeah, I like it where it is for swords and predator’s onslaught.
