astral force generation
pretty fast,
I made this vid after hot came out because people were freaking that there was no way to get into Celestial Form because of nerfs. Back then regeneration/dolyak runes/sotw/ and so on didn’t contribute to afg and it depleted outside of combat. Ya I got a lot of hate for it…
as you can see, so long as you can deal a lot of dmg tics its really not that hard even back then when I restricted myself severely just to demonstrate. Staff alone piercing your pet should go along way all by itself. You may consider backing off so much passive regen sources even, to improve other aspects of your build.
If you’re using staff you can ignore AF generation. It’s just there, no problem.
I’m a little skeptical of what you’re doing with the healing, especially in open world or dungeons and with one of the lowest damage weapons in the entire game, but whatever, there is your answer.
@Justine I see and understand what you did there, but it looks seems like its not what i had in mind when i said “sustain healing”. I mean, yes i can go from 0-100% when i engage by blowing off my longbow 2 and 5, torch 5, entangle ultimate, maybe spam some more axes that bounces (if i switch instead of sword) but all that time i cant seem to heal besides when i activate a glyph.
And after i enter celestial avatar and burst heal im back to auto attacking and trying to catch as much enemies in my bow and torch 5 skills.
I might be wrong ofc…
@Fluffball trying to find a way to be able to constantly heal for a reasonable amount in order to sustain the life of certain encounters in dungeons, fractals and pve events with various npcs needed to stay alive.
Tho i am not focusing on going full healing power, picking the staff seemed like a good start to be able to heal for at least something while celestial avatar is down.
In the end, the Druid might not even be what im looking for. Maybe its ventari herald, maybe its s/w auramancer tempest. But thats okay, just looking for opinions and listening to experiences
In GW2 pve, where the dangerous damage mostly comes in large chunks, you mostly only need burst healing, which CA covers pretty good.
The sustain healing, if needed, should be covered by your teams own healing skills. You do have many options to heal outside CA, with staff constantly pumping out small heals, regen, water fields, Spirit of Nature, Lingering Light (not that good, but it contributes), glyphs, Cultivated Synergy, pets like moas, Fern Hound (even Brown Bear for condi cleanse), Invigorating Bond.
You should be able to pump out tons of healing, but even then your fellow players need to actually play the game. Some encounters you won’t be able to facetank no matter the amount of healing you put out.
