been trying to find out what you could add to the upgrade slot…tried crystals and runes..but the box comes up red …it says its armor with no level restriction…any ideas of what to add…

If you’re trying to upgrade a low level back brace, you need low level gems. AFAIK, only gems work. Runes do not. And they have to be around the level of the item. Say, you can’t put a Opal Orb in a level 10 white back brace. It won’t work.

I believe you also only get 2 backbraces, one from a story mode around lvl 30-40 I believe and another at 80.

The one u get from personal Story lv80 already has an exotic upgrade slotted in it. The Lv80 Rare guild backpack from the guild armorer will take and Orb

crests will also work as an upgrade to bagpacks

5 gold for the guild back back… Well still worth it I guess.
Anyway, hope they release “capes” as a back slot options.

So not worth it. You get something like +3 str, +2 precision or something for that 5G back brace. That’s not even half a percent in the end game stats.

um the guild back pack is worth it for 5 gold…it with my exquisite jewel i get 45 power 29 precision and 4% crit damage….

You do realize you get one for free in the story mode right?

Guild back brace has +2 str and +1 precision compared with the story mode one at lvl 80 and the story one has the exquisite ruby jewels built in for free.

If you think 2 points of str and 1 point of precision is worth 5G. All the power to you.
