hi,

after watching the video of peachy, i noticed that we get the last 2 pet skill.
and new third one.

for example enter beast mode with wolf we would get crippling leap and brutal charge.
could someone confirm ?

True, you get crippling leap and brutal charge, it’s confirmed. Last skill is a new type of skill based on pet archetype(not pet family).

rip beastmode. Not that interesting anymore. So all pets of the same family get the same skills.

So the only interesting ones are Bear for Defy Pain and Smokescale for Smoke Assault, and maybe Porcine for Brutal Charge.

other thing i noticed is cd on beast mode or stupid long.

1) Since Hot, new pets are mostly unique and each pet got it’s own abilities. New exp also got several unique abilities.

2)We’ll have to see how exactly they implement it but:

Drake – AOE big damage and blast the other attack that heals you.
Wyvern – AOE knockback
Bird – off combat swiftness(some builds may use it)
Devourer – evadeknockback
Bristleback – sharpen spines+rain of spikes
wolf – 2 leaps+ take down(you can use also as finishers or just for combat mobility)
etc….

All pets have the same skills per family except for the F2 and it was pretty obvious that we wouldn’t get their F2’s. At least not direct copies.

Can you imagine how OP it would be to burn people down with our own copy of Stalk? 6 seconds of perma stealth that doesn’t go away when we deal damage while increasing our crit rate by 30% and giving a boost to ferocity as well?

The “I just died from a 300,000K rapid fire I couldn’t even see!” threads would be hot and heavy and start almost immediately.

Yes I’m sure some could be nice. But you’re giving up your pets for it and lose access to everything Druid has.

Mate, it’s 10s and there is no “ammo” to engage it.

Yes, you are giving up your pet temporarily for it.

You are also getting the extra archetype skill(new skill) + stats bonus.
Pet is not going away, you can break beast mode, use pet f2 while it’s not on CD, 10 sec CD, and go back to beast mode.

I think it’s going to be very good.

PoF is also introducing new pets in the expansion, so I’m pretty sure that they will have rather interesting and unique skills.
