so my stats are the following ,
3649ap
53% crit chance
121% crit dmg
2160 toughness
17k hp

i used full Signets with 30/30/0/10/0
so i have been testing my skills in WvW and PvE
yesterday i did my world record of a 18k+ Path of Scars Crit.
( 9k both ways = 18k ) against my friend who has 2600 toughness
PVE Boss in COF i did 12k ( 6k both ways )

This Axe is doing more dmg than my longbow is with rapiid fire and it only takes 2 seconds to do the dmg.. whereas the Longbows Rapid fire.. seems to take for ever to build up enough dmg…
i know what you are thinking, you cant compare different skills on different weapons.. but the point I’m trying to get across is , i saw Axes as melee weapons and they do more dmg than my actual range weapons at range..

so much for being the class that is efficient with Bows…. Please Change it to Efficient with Axes and one handed Swords…

on another note. with the pet dmg nerf.. i now use my pets as a Line of Sight Shield.
wtf is up with Pets doing 200 dmg per hit… IF they hit…

YES THIS IS A QQ THREAD. and its a shame.. i will just go play with Torment on my Mesmer.

If only the axes auto attacks hit a bit harder.

Axe on a ranger is range, not melee. Axe on a warrior is melee.

love how realistic it is … throw axe… axe magically reappears back in hand.
Axe is and always will be known as a Melee weapon. in Real life and in games.

interesting…yesterday I went out and bought every weapon we can equip, i’ll have to give this a try. Started using S+WH and SB last night, using the SB mainly for its utility skills, most of the damage output comes from the S+WH. Works pretty good to be honest, just sucks cause i like range attacks better.

i would try the Axe/axe combo. Path of scars is pretty good for spike dps

I wouldn’t go full zerker with axe/axe simply because of the lack of mobility and evades. Mix in some PVT and Valk gear and you will still hit hard but live much longer.
