harpoon + superior sigil of fire

I have the sup sigil of fire attached to my harpoon. Here’s question.. I dont see it. I dont see the damage, nor the animation. Checked combat log… Nothing there. Is it bugged? Or does this sigil not work underwater or something.

I wanna add that I’m using the Inquest Harpoon. Maybe this harpoon has had problems before?

Honestly, I was wondering if this would work. At first I thought the same thing is the person above me….. “dude…… fireballs underwater?” But then I remembered my Elementalist and thought….If i can shoot magma and light stuff on fire underwater with that….why not with a sigil?

So if someone knows the definitive answer to this question that would be awesome!

This is a bit late,but sigils of fire don’t work underwater.
