Guild Wars 2

Am really happy about this,and i dont wont to be an kitteen but even though we got a longbow boost,i was wondering will this have that big impact since skill2 is our main burst and having our longbow 1 stronger is great but will just make longbow 2 feel even weaker so it would be nice if this dmg buff would go for longbow 2 also,or make longbow 2 somehow more appealing… idk faster shots or chain… Please anet think about it. couse this buff even though it is great it will make our lb 2 actually debuffing our dmg or people will just stop to use it,and longbow ranger will have 4 good skills to mix.

You state that skill 2 is the main burst. However, if you stay at 1000+ range, auto attack does more damage per second. (I understand that staying at range is hard to impossible)

Typically once they close within 700 you should start with rapid fire and then maybe use 4 once they’re in melee range. Auto attack once or twice more, and then switch to sword/Greatsword until you can get to max range again.

Am aware of that mate,that is how i play it but as you said in 1on1 fights you wont be getting alot of 1000 + range,so you will then use longbow2 but that will make this anet gift to rangers a bit less significant… you will get 1 arrow or 2 in them but still (2 arrows 15% more dmg inst much) its great but it just does not stack with our longbow 2.

In that case, I agree with you. No. 2 could use a boost. But while I don’t think it’ll be a great 1v1 buff it should be good in group fights when you are able to get range.
