witch one should i make for condi build shortbow, axe or torch?

All 3. Start from shortbow, anyway you’ll switch them by cooldown.

I’d probably go axe since it’s useful for power builds too.
You might want to think about what other professions you like to play and which weapon you might want for them as well. Like if you play your thief a bunch then you should go for the shortbow first.

Question; are you going for looks or for functionality (the free stat swaps)?

Ideally, you’d want to make the one that you use across the most game modes and that you would use with the largest variety of gear, unless you don’t care about functionality at all, in which case, we can’t really answer for you because we don’t know what your personal taste is in what a well designed or good looking weapon would be.

I think the new Axe looks amazing, so I’m doing that one whether it’s good for my build or not.

Not sure if I actually want to make another legendary or not though, may do the SB, but not sure if I really want to.

Short Bow:
Thief
Ranger

Torch:
Mesmer
Warrior
Guardian
Ranger

Axe:
Revenant
Warrior
Ranger
Necromancer

It would make sense to craft a Legendary you can use on multiple classes. Especially, if you have no desire to make numerous legendaries.

Pick one of the axes and put a water sigil on it. You can use it for both Power/Condi builds in PvE.

It gives a non negligible amount of astral force for both builds which is good for group scenarios or bad if he is playing base ranger without druid for whatever reason. If functionality is one of the OP’s goals, then water is a flexible sigil for general PvE.

Axe and warhorn! They look great together.

axe with force sigil. most condi builds are built around viper gear now anyway so a 5 power damage buff doesn’t hurt.

I would also look at making sword, Greatsword and Dagger, almost every profession uses them.

I already got the twhiglight and I’m looking for my second one , I want to get one for condi build . My problem is that I love all of them ……
