Alright, i have to say the dec 14th update was great but other things need to happen to make more builds viable for dungeons and pvp.
Utility(spirits)
1.) As of right now in order for spirits to move with a ranger we need to spend 30 trait points. considering that the tree is basically built around regeneration/removing conditions/spirits how about removing fortifying bond and instead replacing that with spirits unbound(15trait points needed). while removing Fortifying bond from the tree, have it happen automatically.
To compensate for a lost skill, a new grandmaster trait must be made!
XI: Gain +35 health per second regeneration for every spirit active(so at most +140 a second, not effected by healing power)
allies(including yourself) gain +25health each time the spirit activates its buff on them (internal cooldown of 3seconds on the frost spirit, see below)(this is effected by healing power 25(base at 80) +1/12 healing power)
2.) to me the only good spirit is the sun, reason being is for me it does 1500damage every 10 seconds, which does suck but at the same time if i have a pet and a party of 5, it seems the spirit will be able to proc(or whatever it is) for all party members and their pets. which makes it quite good
so with that being said though for every spirit their activation range sucks, even with 2x health in order for them to get into the range needed to use their activation you need to get lucky and get them almost right on top of the enemy. for me, that never happens
all spirits
at least +50%activation range
2x health to start with an extra 50%able to be added on if traited(so 3x what the normal health is now)
Frost spirit
Buff: no internal cooldown. every attack has the chance to do +10% damage
Nerf: chance for it to happen gets nerfed to 10%(or 15%) and cannot be buffed by any trait
Stone Spirit
Buff: internal cooldown reduced by 2seconds
when the buff activates, person who activated it or gets the protection buff also gets 3s of retaliation
storm spirit
Buff: all allies/pets that proc the swiftness will get vigor for 4 seconds
all spirits get the same agony resistance as the ranger
