the skrittfinisher was my idea!
the new stat combo toughness/vitality/healing aka nomadic
what do u think. which builds could work with it
in pve not useful, prayers to god never in pvp.
only left wvw.
roaming – full nomadic with tough runes and signet of stone gives 2400 toughness. that means 47% dmg reduction. 7000 more hp, 700 healing. in 1v1 it is in that way strong that u cant get killed, but u can kill the foe in an bigger amount of time.
group play – only option i could see is that we run as first into the fight and that we hope the foes are not smart and only attack u ,while ur team makes dmg.
zerg play: a ranger with full nomadic is like..you are not there
u cant get killed and u do no dmg. really less usefull in zerg fight
all in all imo that stat combo isnt a good combo for us ranger.
that full tank combo could only be strong if a build can spam ALL conditions at once. even without condi dmg would it be strng enough
noma knockback engis would be horrible
but maybe u have ideas for a build that could work
I haven’t had a chance to play yet, but this is available? whats the primary stat?
to me this seem like a good stat to blend with for example you could mix and match this set with zerker to get a celestial feel without condi damage (currently we need to use a mix of zerker, knights, val, soldiers and calervers.
if ascended accessories are/become available i would proberly spend some commendations and at least get trinkets to mix with my full set of celestial to add more defense if i want to, i already do this with zerker accessories
With the exception of bunkering on a point in PvP (and it’s probably not even available in PvP, is it?) I can’t imagine any class has much use for a full set of this. Rangers probably have it best since we could go and pour every trait into buff our pet in every possible way and have it still doing halfway decent damage, but even then I doubt it would be more useful than just going apothecary.
Maybe a full zerg support guard could use it too.
Also @Eggyokeo
I believe Toughness is the primary stat
toughness is the primary stat I believe.

was think the same thing you could do this as something like 0/2/0/6/6 Sotf (or NV) and invigorating bond and go duel bird and wepone set designed for cc.
though why you wouldn’t just do this with clerks, Pvt, apoth or dire i’m not sure (i use my celestial gear with this)
no.
they had this stat in beta I believe but they took it out because they didn’t want full bunkers.
A beastmaster could make good use of it, but not much else.
I might try it out on my pvp bunker build if it ever gets added/is added there. would be amusing being even more unkillable
Only reason ever to use these stats is if you are commanding WvW blobs.
it should never be released for pvp. being unkillable here and there can be nice yes.
but imagine how u fight in tpvp a bunker guard, a triple cantrip ele or a knockback engi as point holder. alone it would be impossible to kill him in a time frame that would help the team. pvp would end up with nomadic fighters in mid that cant get the point and one nomadic that holds the Back point. it would be absolutely static or the zerg method would become more fame because alone fighting is wasted manpower some where else.
and yes toughness is main stat. what it makes the most bunker combi of that three stat.

Actually, Nomadic probably wouldn’t be too good in sPvP except for maybe like a MM, turret engi, BM ranger etc, because a bunker guardian in Nomadic would literally be 0 threat to any glass canon, who would still be able to cut through them in a semi reasonable amount of time.
Not to mention a hybrid build would abuse the semi weakness to condis that they’d have as well as bashing their face into the toughness wall so they can’t just condi cleanse their way out.
It’d be useful, but I doubt it’d stagnate, because there would be ways around it, and no one would be afraid of them in 99.9999999% scenarios.
