Hi recently started ranger and love the bow/greatsword. I just cant decide which pet to use. I mostly open world pve/living story, fractals and wvw. Also which variety of that pet is the best. Any help would be appreciated
pet advice
choose what Suits the situation never stick to a set of pets .
Drakes ,felines , dogs = world bosses / dungeons drake for extra blast + clarions bond for double blast , + Jungle stalker for 5 might or maybe a dog if your in fractals.
Hounds/dogs+ 1 other of choice = WvW+ Spvp general CC’s
Felines+Spiders/dogs = Spvp if your build has enough CC’s already or is Mainly Ranged Gs , Axe+dagger or Gs , Sword+axe pulls the target closer so you could swap for a dog as the leap is not needed so much, depending on weapons leap on cat/dog and immobilise on spider means the pets or you will aways be near its target.
core basics but every build has its optimal pet though still need to consider the Situation and which pet would be more effective.
