With the recent bug when egle eye gave us fury when using longbow – ranger became a viable dps in pvp/pve.

W/o this fury longbow is trash and won’t be used anywhere.

Please make that fury a buff to trait. Would realy help a build diversity.

Don’t bother with petitions. They are against forum rules and will get removed.

I wouldn’t hold my breath. They fixed this with record speed, but there’s still a glaring error with a trait that gives a sigil’s information instead.

Funny thing, a family member started seeing record numbers of rangers in WvW when longbow had the fury bug on our server.

And after?

Well, you know the answer.

You do realize now they will not only patch that bug but overreact with more nerfs next patch right?

Maybe if everyone reacted like “Wow, nice stealth buff to the ranger!” instead of “They broke LB”, “Anet messed it up again”, “Probably just a bug” etc, then it might have been left in the game…..

But no, an unintentional buf that buffed the LB is till seen as something horrible and makes anet worse, right? -_-

Maybe if they didn’t have such a horrible track record ranger players would give them the benefit of a doubt. Sadly it seems they have no vision and direction when it comes to the ranger so we just end up getting random buffs and nerfs that make little to no sense overall.

well.

That fury gain from LB made LB viable in tPVP. without it LB is not viable in any aspect of game. (may be some solo pve/www for for role-players – being legolas).

Please bring back the fury. We want diversity ;>.
It wasn’t that op as you think.
It ruined nothing in pve because in pve all has 100% fury. In www in zerg all have fury.
It only affected tPVP where longbow never were playable and now it became playable for fun.

It is interesting how a bug that helps the ranger can get fixed in a few days, but things like correcting pet tool tips goes unfixed for over a year. And I refuse to believe that correcting pet tool tips is a harder task than fixing eagle eye. (I’m not even talking about pet AI or the F2 button’s failings… I’m talking about tool tips, people… TOOL TIPS!)

Anet has the resources to make improvements regarding ranger (they just proved it), but they “choose” not to. Think about that the next time you consider buying gems.
