its not to promote my playstyle or whatever just to show the build dps.

I use something different, but same role (burst damage).

Anyways I wanted to comment that there’s no reason to have Sharpened Edges on a power ranger. Even if you have 80% crit chance with furry, your condition damage is super low and it’s not going to make any difference. I’d take agility training, especially if I’m going to use melee pets.

one question, for the power zerker build listed here you have soldier armor and zerker trinkets wouldnt that cripple the power for pve? or ? full zerker is too squishy? why the split armor? an answer is appreciated^^ thanks!

For PvE you go full zerker, nothing there is hard enough to make you invest in survival.

That build is probably for WvW

i see.. ok thanks, so if that build is for wvw i assume traits are also setup for wvw? or can i use this build in pve too? because it doesnt mention if that build is for pve and i just started a ranger and i really like that build^^

If you have some friends to run dungeons with you can have cleric even, whatever you wish. Dunno how rangers are looked upon since the patch, but the dungeon running folks think its zerker or gtfo. So there you have it. It depends on who you play with.

ok so i wont have any problems then, i mainly wish to be in pve solo as i have always been. but if i want the latest meta build in the lb/gs category would this pew pew power build be the right one? or is there a more latest one? because i worry this is for wvw only since the build lists a mix matched armor of soldiers for armor andzerker trinkets.. so i am confused! where is the pve variant?

If you want to do open world pve, you can do that in soldier gear as well. Its really up for personal preference. If you can handle yourself, than you can go full zerker, and just wreck everything before it reaches you. If not build more defensively (and also stay away from wvw for your own good).

yeah srry about that was meant to be full zerker changed that.
the bleeding is just something i choose on purpose as i didn’t really used pet i was up the hill etc to snipe targets.
having the pet run faster wouldn’t make sense for me maybe for pve but for wvw i picked up the bleeding. anyway that trait slot is up to you to fill.
as this doesn’t really alter the raw dmg of the build at all. this build has been used both in zerging and roaming (played as a caster just sniping targets etc) can also be used in pve or even pvp. once more i dislike zerker and yes mostly play wvw. thursday il will make a new threat with a new build. side-note tbh i never used zerker the first year i played in gw2 i played pvt with zerker trinkets in pve and as said above its up to your personal preference.

also thanks for the comments means that in the coming threats i have to be more specific on the coming builds.
