Does that mean that Carnivorous Appetite works better for Birds?

Does it mean that mean that birds have a higher Burning and Protection uptime in combination with Spirits then other pets?

It does hit twice, but because of this, and because of the ridiculously long animations on their other skills, birds have a much slower attack speed than other pets.
