sPvP: Lightning reflexes v. Sig. of Purity
Trait condition removal is enough, no need to double dip.
Trait cond removal is enough as Cempa said, + lightning gives you a decent up time of 100% endurance Regen (forgot what the buff itself is called) giving you more base dodges as well.
Sure thing—what trait gives that?
Empathic Bond at the end of Wilderness Survival.

^ Empathic bond, grandmaster wilderness survival.
removes all conditions every 10 seconds so long as your pet is alive.
it seems they forgot to tell u that it only removes conditions when the pet is alive, and in range xD
it’s kinda useless when u r standing on a ledge and a necro decides to spice u up with condis and ur pet is wondering around in the melee, u will need to heal up. just like Signet of Renewal, if pet is not in range, ur conditions won’t get removed.

That is why point holders rangers use that triat and signet, since u r guarantee to have ur pet in range and free of condis pretty much every now and then. triple dip with trait, signet of renewal and healing spring.
my recommendation, stick with lightning reflexes, u will avoid pretty much any sort of burst (thief/warriors with their stuns) and any marks/wells/kd ele that comes at u. plus u get that nice 10 seconds vigor regen.

Wow, I never realized how good lightning reflexes was. I didn’t realize it also broke fear, knockdown, etc.!
I suppose I could consider empathic bond—currently I’m using the 20% offhand cooldown reduction so I have CD redux on both my sword and dagger. I’m doing this to maximize flexibility and evasiveness and stuff.

There is no competition in that call for me. Think of how many conditions are applied in this game extremely quickly… And are reapplied. That evasion on the dagger is a supplement to your other evasions and lightning reflexes. Those 2 dagger skills are not going to be game changers like condition removal can be.
