earlier in a match i was 1v1 ing someone and for some reason every time i hit f2 for my pet to use his skill (in this case wolf fear), he would just sit there…….not atking, not doing to skill not doing a kittening thing. that is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be looked at over ANY other ranger short comings. in this fight i must have hit f2 5 – 7 times and nothing happened. i still somehow managed to win the fight because i literally had to swap pets just so i would have a pet that would atk. but pet AI is terrible.

I encountered this bug with my pet, too, just not in a PvP situation (thankfully). I was in Frostgorge Sound toppling Icebrood Colossi at the time, and at one point my pet just stopped taking commands. F1, F2, it didn’t matter; my Ranger was whistling his lips off to no avail. Not even directly attacking the Colossi with a ranged weapon made my pet stop stretching and wagging his tail. It took marching myself up to the Colossi and essentially forcing my pet into aggro range did it cause him to do something other than follow me.

Heavy sarcasm warning, yes.

illusions , minions & turrets seem to be smarter then pets they can at least find a hidden thief were as a pet will just sit there saying witch way did it go or what was that.

think about it all pets have a sixth sense and keen sight and smell no thief should be hidden from them in any way shape or form.

as for hp and toughness even with max beast master there all kinda squishy seeing as we cannot fight without our pets they should be given the correct ai and hp they deserve.

My biggest issue with pets is how they just seem to get such big jollies from fighting, that when I kill what I needed killed; they run a mile away to kill something else. Seriously, stay at my effing side unless I actually hit something.
