Guild Wars 2

I know this may be a silly question but since last patch, i can barely seem to cap a camp solo anymore… well sometimes i can… but.. Before patch i never had any problems with any guards or camps… but now i find myself running in to a camp and getting mowed down by the guards in a few seconds and i am starting to believe there is a bug or something.

All i do is WvW, so im asking this specifically for WvW players. Haven’t tested it in PVE since i don’t know what the damage would be in the PVE world anymore.

I have checked my armor, all repaired etc… removed it, re-equipped it and nothing helps. I have also checked to make sure the camp wasn’t buffed (no RI of course or iron guards etc installed) and no one hiding in the shadows hitting me that i wasn’t seeing.

It doesn’t happen all the time, just select camps at random times.. like south camp on the blue BL the other day. The guards hit me for 14,000 hp almost every hit and they 2 shot any pet i try to use. The camp guards were simply unkillable except with a large ranged group. We killed them later that day, but with 6-10 people and still a few of us got downed right off the bat as we ran in.

I am max traited in all WVW skills etc as well…. just encase you were wondering. Rank 1989 i think.. or something like that.

Has anyone else noticed that they are taking way more damage now? Or maybe is my character bugged or something… have never taken damage like this from any npcs before in wvw. Kind of wondering if there was an unintentional nerf to leather armor or a bug in wvw guards that’s doing this.

I seem to also take slightly more damage from players than i used to as well.. but nothing has changed with my setup or equipment in a while since HoT (if anything it has gotten better as i replaced a few exotic trinkets with ascended onces)… I am still running the same ascended armor i have had for a while.

so no one has noticed any extra damage being taken or anything… must just be me then.
