Samanosuke Asakura Far shiver peaks
some old school from gw1 worth checking
Samanosuke Asakura Far shiver peaks
Oh that would be sweet! Maybe a utility instead of sharpening stone…
Illustrious Exhausted Primordial Legendary Druid, and Mesmer for fun

Why all the hub-bub? That skill is in the game. Its called Warrior Longbow #3.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”
- Jareth, King of Goblins.
Sounds like sigil of fire

If you’re gonna go with that tangent, then why not just include the FULL PvE meta with it??

….that’s what WvW is afterall, PVE with zergs..
(infact the biggest thing holding Fort Aspenwood’s meta back was the PvP splits)

Well that and the incredible cheese that broke the game mode.
Healing npc’s through gates, EoE bombing ect.
Plus no one likes losing because 3/12 people on your side are AFK leaching.
What we really need is the Almighty Touch Ranger. Ton’s of armor ignoring damage + nearly unbreakable health regen? Yes, please!
Of all the things that defined rangers in Guild Wars 1 (pets, traps. preparations, interupts, condition spreading, expertise) They had to use the most boring one as calls mechanic. Imagine Guild Wars 2 with preparations as your F1-F4 skills.

I believe you are thinking of a venom thief.
But, ya. They took all of our good stuff, gave it to other classes, and super glued us to the one mechanic no one ever used outside of a brief GvG window of time and couldn’t even manage to get it right a second time.
Imagine Guild Wars 2 with preparations as your F1-F4 skills.
OOooohhhhh……That sounds so fun. Although they kinda did that in GW2 with Guardian virtues and venom thieves.
While the pet is a unique and potentially rewarding mechanic, a ranger focusing on bows and whose core mechanics were preparations and spirits would have been boss. And we need dynamic spirits like we had in GW (eg – Pestilence, Famine, Equinox, Brambles, Tranquility).

venoms suck! you can have em.
but yeah…give rangers preparations for f1-4 and give em dshot. ranger fixed

It would actually be kind of cool if the 2 bow interrupts put skills on a 500% cooldown or something, although that would be a death sentence for a heal skill interrupt. Maybe any skill except heals (200% for those?)
That would dramatically open up some PvP options since your primary role would become an interrupter, and anything else you did would be utility.
just like old dshot. rupted skill is disabled for additional 20seconds, 15sec cd.
give that beast to longbow, replaces barrage (that skill is so useless).
to anet: you can also have my pet for this
