i have been reading this ranger forum.
for while and i see that most of you are finally dropping your bows and swapping to mellee.
this makes me happy even on fsp when i am comanding (as ranger) i see other picking up their gs in stead of bow and leaping with me trhough the our foes
. so i wanne shout and take my time to say thank you.
and say keep on going guys i really like some of the post here about rangers and wvw.
i have been plaing rangers sinde beta and still loves my ranger. believe when i tell i get kitten loads of crap on fsp when commanding on ranger butt people got used to it.
now most jokes are how i am the only ranger allowed to play wvw.
in the comming days i will make post and i am counting on you guys to share your opions on my post. lets make them love ranger and not hate us.

Melee rangers scarier then the good ole bearbow rangers, at least thats my experience from swapping my LB to sword/torch axe/dagger.

Maybe you should go to warrior forum and tell them to throw away their bows or their rifles. I love doing melee with sword and horn, but what this guy is preaching is bs.

i was exprssing gratitude on this post if it is was bs for you and others i am sorry.
sorry to be social i thaught we played the same game with diffrent people.
i am just tired of seeing bearbow ranger in wvw while we have other options.
thats what i meant to say. mellee ranger whatever you like or not in wvw is more effecient then rooted bear bow. that is dieing because he get retal becaus he used barrage or get ganked by thief because he a squishy kitten. thats for the zerging part for roaming part regen/tak/condi doesn’t use bow either. i don’t mind us using a bow but i get kittened of when people don’t swap to their sword or gs when foe comes at you. theirs a time for pew pew and there time to maul like a bear.

That’s what I reacted against. I’m not a fan of bearbow or using bow all the time. I love melee. But going from there to advocating that ranger shouldnt use bow makes as much sense as claiming that warrior shouldnt use bow or rifle.

This whole melee Ranger in WvW is so outdated.

Ever since the April balance update it’s been full ascended berserker longbow with sigil of Air, sigil of Fire, Eagle Eye and Read the Wind. Even more so after the next update.

To be fair, you’re a commander, so you get a pass.
