No. Though one issue was addressed, another issue was presented that, regardless of the update, it remains where it was before. (aka “one step forward and one step back.”)

The one place in the whole entire game where it is actually useful is in the Sabitha Raid encounter while you are in charge of flac strafing.
That’s exactly where I was testing it yesterday. I like traited healing spring better there though, it heals for more I believe, and also long enough though water spirit is more sustained healing which is nice when you’re ranged at sab. Healing spring is easy to place at sab where everyone stands in it, right in the middle.
Maybe I’ll try Matthias or KC since people move more there, but not too much for it to be out of range

Right, HS is much better when you’re in melee range with everyone. But I was saying the water spirit is actually good when you are in charge of flac strafing — which requires you to be as far away from everyone as possible for lengthy periods of time.
I want it to work, too, Bast. Unfortunately, it has to work properly first, and then altered so it does not require Nature’s Vengeance to be of use.
Since it’s still buggy, using it is a handicap.

Well, the real issue of water spirit is how spirits work. The skillset in itself could be good in theory but perform poorly.
- Unmovable
- frail
- passive effect with ICD
- Active effect needing a cast time from the spirit (Animation on summon is kitten in this game)
- Cool down between the death of the spirit and the moment you may re-summon it (because they are way to op right?)
The only thing that we can say about spirits is that they need a total revamp on how they work which would ideally end with the “summon” part of it simply deleted for something more practical. Water spirit before or after bug fix is a perfect example of why this is needed.
Sorry but a small heal with a 10s ICD that need the ally to actually hit something and it’s not even a 100% chance to proc it… That’s ridiculous!
