uhm, its a spirit…. IT HAS TRAITS SPECIFICALLY MEANT TO BE USED WITH SPIRITS.

There are a couple of issues with it. First the usual problem with spirits dying too easily in melee range. Second, that means the aoe heal won’t be as effective if you’re purposely trying to keep the spirit out of the fray. Lastly, there is a cooldown on it’s passive effect so the heal on hit doesn’t trigger often. I would guess it’s probably 10 seconds.

Yeah… Sounds like something I won’t be using. I’ll stick to HS and TU, mostly TU.

RNG is a bell curve. Better hope you’re on the right side.

Even in the live stream this skill didn’t preform well. Wouldn’t this skill conflict with another ranger using it making it a very bad group heal.

In order to properly understand the big picture,

I wish they’d bother fixing Heal As One before adding a new heal. It’s almost there really. All it needs is either a small scaling up, one or two conditions removal, or a boon (protection maybe?) and it’ll become a valid option. As is, it’s pretty much always inferior to TU/HS…

I gave it a chance, even traited it’s extremely subpar in comparison to our other options. The on use restricts me from going anywhere due to the slow activation time in this very mobile played profession.

Im going to try it in other content/builds before I completely retire it and see where it gets me.

i completely agree.
1. 10s cooldown is way to long for a standard 800heal at 70% chance (mes 3s 1k heal)
2. the active effect has 4k at least less heal than TU. for a heal that can die wheres my buff for the risk
3. the active effect on the spirit cannot be blast finished also the party heal is 1k less than HS meaning its not a great party heal ever
so to sum up use any of the other heals even HAO is better

I might be tempted if the spirits stayed up continuously. But, as of right now, the spirits are pointless. That downtime between being able to recast them now was the nail in the coffin for me.
