what if...
It’s been suggested often that HaO become a survival skill, but shout would work just as well too. Frankly all it needs is a way to reduce its CD.
With HS.. to be honest I wouldnt change it. It’s already a very very common choice of Heal and concidered one of the best in the game, so to reduce its CD by 20% and possibly give it other effects too would probably make it a bit OP.
With RaO… yeah could be good too. Again, like HoA, it would be nice just to be able to lower it’s CD a bit and being a shout would make perfect sense.

i totally agree with what you said but i think that maybe a bit of “opness” for the heals wouldn’t be all that bad. the problem i have with healing spring is the base healing, ofc the regen is awesome but most of the time i have regeneration anyway. so a cooldown reduction wouldn’t be bad and counting as a survival skill with SotF would allow for non empathetic bond builds while HaO would allow for non SotF shout regen builds (maybe even with soldier runes).
What if…a Ranger with bows would actually be useful…?

I only ever use troll unguent when running a regen spec. Otherwise I prefer the burst of heal of HaO.
I don’t think heal as one needs a cool down reduction; its plenty powerful as it is. What I do think it needs is some sort of secondary function. What that could be, I don’t know.

With the incoming stab change, it won’t justify such a long cd anymore i guess.

I always thought it would be nice if it rezzed our dead pets.

If any healing skill should be a survival skill, it’s troll unguent. It has the most survival feel to it, and while powerful there is the fact of it not providing immediate save.
As for Heal as One i would extend it’s cd but add ability to resurrect your fallen pet with it. So if you suck with keeping your pet alive – HaO, if you’re doing cool – troll unguent.
heal as one and rampage as one would become shouts
and healing spring would become a survival skill?traits for shouts: -20% cd, 13s regen and swiftness
trsits for survival: -20%cd, fury and 2 condi cleansei think it could be borderline but it would benefit the ranger quite a bit and open the path for new builds.

I would rather have Healing Spring be considered a trap that activates on ally touch.
and how would you heal yourself in a 1v1 situation? not counting the pet walking over it.
and i could also imagine uguent as a survival skill.

Well, we don’t know that yet. For all we know they might over-compensate and make RaO insansely OP :P Just have to wait and see.

I’d ruther see Healing Spring as a trap to be honest
