what if druids spec ....
This idea already was here.
Too much coding if you ask me. Too many skills with very few possibilities (dogs are a CC pet – which would set a staff to that particular playstyle, while all PvP players picked pets according to what they lack, not what they wanted to focus on)
All we know so far is this
> Your aspect swaps are faster. Each target affected by your swap recharges your glyphs.
So, keywords are aspect and glyphs.
Elementalist uses Glyphs which are utility skills which change based on their attunement (class mechanic – f1, f2, f3, f4)
So it seems Ranger is getting the same with changing utility skills, but based on aspects.
There is already something called Aspect in the game, which also seem to be a lot like attunements. However, it isn’t the first time ANet uses the same name for different things (Ferocity for example).
We don’t know for sure how aspects will work, but it looks like we are getting utility skills that change. It’s not likely that also the staff skills change.
Well, we can surmise that there will be effects on aspect swapping because of the
Each target affected by your swap… part. So, it could either be an AoE damage or AoE buff. The buff would be the best option imo, 10 allies in a raid is 5s less recharge (which is not amazing, unless the CD is already short). Perhaps it is boon share on aspect swap…
Starting to get the feeling the aspects, if available to swap, won’t have to do with the pet family, but more like an additional selection in the pet menu. At least, I hope they do it that way so things are more flexible.
Will update once Path of Fire releases.
