Hi all, was hoping you guys could have a look at my wvw build and advise if i can tweek it anywhere.
Ive had this build for a while now and until recently its served me well, but lately im having problems surviving and i dont know whats changed

Im usually solo, so survivability is important for me -but i also do want to be able to damage (i dotn want to use druid on this toon as i have a seperate druid)

What are you usually dying to? Power, condi, getting zerged down?

Go with a shout build maybe?
Would free up rune choice for something like soldiers / durability / defenders.

Dumping wilderness then for NM traitline.

Those 2 pet BM traits arnt doing a whole lot for you with those pets.
Dump tiger for wolf maybe.

Something I scrapped together, if you choose to avoid condi-trash you have better options. Don’t use fire sigil on bow regardless of what you do, there is a reason it’s price has dropped alot on tp.

What @Justine.6351 saied. (+1) trooper rune with his setup also will work quite well.

I seem to be running into a lot of Mesmers & daredevils that i now have issues with and following the server mash up, zergs and squads have become a problem – but not much i can do about those – thats part of soloing

But once where i could hold my own even if i did eventually die, now i just seem to fold like a pack of cards

The reason you’re most likely dying a lot on your build is that the longbow shoots a lot of heavy hitting projectiles, people are very likely reflecting them back at you. I love fighting longbow rangers because they end up defeating themselves when I throw on my magnetic aura on my ele lol.

Let me be clear that it isn’t my build, its a very common power shout build. There is probably a better version floating around.

Condi builds have always been pretty common while roaming but lately it sends everyone i fight is running condi so I’ve been running shouts/trooper runes with empathic bond. It’s kitten near unkillable vs condi builds (I run druid though so I do have that extra cleanse).
