i been farming vet oakhearts at high timbler claims for over 3 days now and this item has refused to drop, im i doing something wrong or im just having terrible luck?

I got mine after roughly one kill as well (didn’t even know there was a collection, I just randomly smacked an oakheart.)

Maybe try a different map, there might be some diminishing returns or something going on. I was finishing my plant slayer achievement yesterday and after about 30 oakheart kills they simply stopped spawning all together. Sat there for 5 or 10 minutes, went away from my computer for a while and when I came back there was still nothing there. Dunno what that means, but clearly there is code for something or other.

Definitely RNG. i got one from killing those oakhearts in queensdale where the old train used to be while helping out a new player.

Try in Queensdale around the corrupted veteran oakheart in -"The Heartwoods ". Kill the boss and the other oakhearts.

This is the place where I farmed the veterans and corrupted oak heart for nature spirit.
However, it was not fast. Probably 7-9 hours. It’s a good place since there are many
veteran oak hearts, plus the corrupted every 10 minutes or so. Expect a random
factor, so you’re happy if you get results in 1-3 kills, or spend hours at it.

I went to Queensdale, killed the veteran oakhart boss thing that was part of some quest and got it. First try too :x

Your suppose to kill the boss oakheart not the random one that are there before the event.

I went to Queensdale and killed boss Oakheart and others for 1.5 hours, went to Hirathi for 1 hour and came back to Queensdale and it dropped off an Oakheart (not boss) within a few minutes. My husband who joined me just before going to Hirathi got it 3 oakhearts (also not boss) after me! Another guildie got it in 15 minutes – RNG for you.

Got quite a few coloured 4 slots bags off the boss though :-)

It drops from any oakheart. I got mine in timberline falls.

Got mine on the first try from Bloomhunger in level 2 swamp.

Tried everything, random oakheart, event oakheart, different level swamp runs. Didn’t get it.

Then I decided to suck up and just started farming all those oakhearts with full magic find boost. Still took me more than 1 hour of farming to get it.

The variation of half the thread getting it immediately and half the thread spending hours grinding it is very weird.

RNGesus must be a WvW player. Got mine in Eternal Battlegrounds near Stonemist Castle ;)

I spent a few hours with it, gave up, bought some gems to buy 200 gold, and crafted a cleric’s staff…

I am willing to put time in to PLAY a game, but not to sit there and grind one mob…

Got mine off the spirit of an oakheart in one try – (hero challenge).

It may be RNG, but it really doesn’t seem like a low percentage to me.

Got mine in Queensdale after one kill. When I helped my wife, it took about twenty. Yeah, quite random.

Confirmed. If you have no luck to find this item in Tyria. Try wvw, I got it in Eternal Battleground only just killed one vet oakheart after trying tons of them in Tyria and Fractal of the mists.

Just got mine on the 4th Veteran Oakheart kill at Greatheart Weald, Queensdale.
