This is hilarious I can’t stop laughing. Why does no one ever attack pets? It happens in every game, the first game I used to do the same thing as the video.

Do you want the main reason? Pets don’t give points, and in pugs games people mainly cares about getting the most points possible

However you can’t get points if your dead. I would think if your screen is showing huge numbers taking off your health you would be inclined to kill whatever it is.

That’s not lazy ranger it’s remote control killer mode. See you’ve found the joys of boon transfer and a nasty pet.

As an FYI when I tested boon transfer I noticed the pet gets no more than 5 second duration per application and doesn’t benefit from duration increase on boons transferred from the ranger to them under 5 seconds base. AKA a duration increased protection boon applied to the ranger lasting over 5 seconds remains 3.5 transferred to the pet. Something to consider in regards to going 30 points in nature.

Good to know. I’ve recently started using a boon stacking melee build (1h sword with sigil of strength and offhand with sigil of battle). One of the things I realized about this build that I love is that if you use a pet that buffs, such as a jungle stalker, they get the benefit from casting on themselves as well as a double dipping if they apply it to you. Because of this, you can get 10 stacks of might from a single F2 of a Jungle Stalker.

My kitten. Hey, just want to say thanks everyone for not flaming me like they do in the spvp forums. I wasn’t able to reply to you guys for some time because they suspended my account after posing my 1v1 video, for “excessive use of capital letters”. I’m sorry, I though this was America?! That’s fine. If the mods want to keep all the qq and bug reports at the top of the SPVP forums, maybe I’ll just stay here or find new forums not run by neo nazis.

Haha, yup this footage is a bit old and when I wanted to really make pets shine in spvp. Yes, actually the build I posted is incorrect and the points were spread out to better suit the “role” of the build. It’s nice taking advantage of clerics for that gnarly healing power. It increases your pets survivability seven fold, and if you know how to control the pet it will never die because they have the fastest movement speed in the game.

ps- if there’s any rangers that want to get together for a joke tpvp match on anvil rock add me. I want everyone to use beastmaster builds with their favorite pets. We can all send in 5 jaguars to fight on points while we heal them, lol. If we all focused the same person I’m guessing the damage from 5 jags would insta gib just about anyone.
