Anyone try full cleric build yet?
Until raids come out, it’s kinda hard to really test any healer build since there’s not really content to challenge a group to need a healer.
I’m almost finished with my Minstrel’s/Magi’s/Cleric’s mix Revenant. I will see how it works in raids next week.

While leveling my Rev traditional i picked up the exotic gear in one of the orr temples, i think it had cleric stat(lots of heal power)
I had absolute no problems to enter the jungle with this set. Jalis whirling hammers also heal alot with clerics making you very sustainable. Using later shield+glint acomplinished quite good
Now working on celestial gear with mace+shield/Hammer Glint/Jalis. I love the mace. Its more enjoyable then the sword which is very boring
For solo PvE i think you can make most things work, just build to the strengths of your armour; doesn’t have to be ventari but you could go for the siphon life traits.
I’ve got celestial + cleric stuff I’ve dabbled with, although like Rym said it’s so hard to see how things matter or not. One thing I did note is that I think I am always going to be going with the Harmonize Continuity trait in Herald that stunbreaks others when you do. A fair few mechanics kind of ignores your healing and kills you (and potentially others, more importantly) despite the healing you have, and when you heal it feels like you sometimes have to put yourself in danger a bit more than when your sole aim is to target a boss.
At the very least i will flip between it and Bolster Fortifications as per enemy mechanics…
FYI, some skills/traits have negligible healing power scaling, so there is no benefit to using cleric gear with them.
Focused siphoning (Devastation trait) and Vengeful Hammers, for example, practically do not scale with healing power at all. Assassin’s Annihilation (Devastation GM trait) does scale somewhat, and shield skills have good scaling, for example.
Just might want to keep in mind what scales and what doesn’t when evaluating whether or not Cleric gear is good for your build.

I tried it as a Bunker in Conquest (PvP) and it worked fine =D (as i was the only bunker in the team)
Glint/ventari on a point is almost unkillable (except if too many condi pressure)
I currently run with full cleric gear (exotic) plus a Cele staff (ascended). I don’t have Herald yet, but I with the Ventari Tablet out and staff….I can face tank pretty well and keep my group healed pretty well. Ofc I have yet to take it out for test runs on raids but for the meta events and stuff it works pretty well!
I found valk(mix in knights but not so much you lose a lot of power) to be best for pve personally.
I did successful cleric builds in wvw and pvp though. But I prefer the settler to it, which I posted here latley.
