I’ve watched some videos and sure other classes can do it better but I have to ask can revs tank in raids?

Before you say it I already know it wont be optimal. Im just wondering how far from optimal it would be and what gear would it take to do so. I have my ideas but before I waste my resources crafting ascended gear I possibly wouldn’t use I’d just like the community’s feedback.

I have tanked Gors and VG as rev, you can still keep up fury / prot / FoN while tanking. I just ran this build:

You have blocks on shield and staff, plus 50% damage reduction if needed from Dwarf Ulti, Glint heal is a full heal if timed right. No need to use sword 3.

Haha even thieves can tank with s/p builds, and in some teams are expected to to the tanking.

It’s funny because revs are naturally very well suited for tanking with insane defenses and so much natural vitality. But the biggest issue I see is with sword 3. It’s the evade that you will rely on the most because you don’t want to move around too much, buuuutttt the issue is it will cause your team to wipe because the boss will forcefully spin around irrationally and cleave all of your glass deepsers. So not so good :/

So why would you run rev for tanking if it’s so obsurdley amazing at what it’s actually good at, BOONINGARING…g. It’s like asking if a staff druid can hurt… things?

Thanks Ill try out the build and see where it goes. It just seems reasonable to me that revs can tank due to its stats. Being a boon bot seems a little lack luster for me.
