Arm glow with stowed weapon
Considering there was much more “negative” feedback regarding the Herald ground graphic effect without a single dev response on the subject, says a lot regarding what you can expect. I wish you the best in your quest though!
I used to be a power ranger, now not sure anymore
I’m sure it’d be easy enough to implement. Like you said, Elementalists already have it.
Personally, I love the glow being always-on. Gives a different feel to the class, one that represents the fact that there’s a duality to them and that Revenants channeling legends is something that isn’t easy or without inconvenience. Its something that they need to put up with all the time, not just during combat.
Temporary fix:
1) Use Herald
2) Equip Glint
3) Switch out Herald
4) Hand glow is now removed
As I said before in these threads and will continue to say:
Toggle option is a great thing for everyone. I’d rather not see it get nerfed when they could easily add a toggle option.
I like it personally.
Dragonbrand
I really don’t think they are wasting time with things like this… they are more concerned with the new tyria gliding and balancing classes rather than a few pixels of color…
I like the effect and i want to stay it the way it is. I dont understand why RP person would complain about such thing. Despite wearing black-red-purple dyes these glows are not issue at all. They actually fit nicely.
Playing Smite since mid s2, f broken gw2.

Totally agree with Electro here. The Revenant is meant to sorta be an uneasy presence, an outsider who can never really truly fit in with their original people again. It’s part of why I kinda like the idea they have no access to racial skills, though that’s just as likely an oversight. If it is intentional, it feels a bit like Rytlock Brimstone being their choice for the character who becomes one isn’t an accident. Charr as a culture are disdainful of mystical power, history that isn’t related to their own glory, and especially anything related to ghosts (understandably). It wouldn’t shock me if the next Living World has a segment w/ his own fellows no longer trusting him.
That said, I sympathize with the OP too and wouldn’t complain if they did add a setting. For me though it’s the same as how death knights have icy glowy eyes in WoW.
my problem with it is that if you have a red dyed gloves and you are using glint or shiro
the gloves become messy red/blue, messy red/green, both mess up my look overall
Arm glow is fine.
If your dye doesn`t fit the glow, change the dye…
PS: You can never go wrong with black

Shadow abyss for the win!
As a roleplayer, I actually took the hand-glow to be something my revs aren’t able to turn off and a sign that they’re still learning their magic. I also figured different Revenants would prefer different legends, so I made my dyes to match the hand glow colors of their “primary” legends as possible, gold for my Sylvari who mainly uses Ventari and purple for my ultra-pragmatic ex-Ebon Vanguard who typically reaches out to Mallyx first.
It actually makes the shift in Legends that much more jarring in RP due to how noticeable the colors stand out.
