Greetings all.

I would like to start playing with my Rev in WvW once again.

My biggest hang-up is, I do not have Herald unlocked yet.

I have enjoyed using Dwarf/Shiro with Hammer and Sw/Sw in the past in a frontline/mid position , but I admit I have not kept up on the changes/updates in some time.

I would mainly use this in small group or zerg. (I suck at 1 v 1…I can admit my faults. )

Thanks for any suggestions to work with until I get Herald unlocked.

Get Herald unlocked. Revenant is really not very good in WvW without it. Once you have it, try this out: http://asphyxia.tv/wvw-roaming-revenant-build/

Just keep in mind, with proof of heroics in WvW, you can unlock an elite spec pretty fast. Its also pretty easy to get the hero points in the new maps if you just follow a tag around. I’d definitely focus more on getting the elite spec than trying to come up with a workable build that doesn’t use it.

There are some builds that dont use Glint but they are to specific.

You could go Condi Revenant with Corruption/Retribution/Invocation or Devastation.It’s probably the only build which you can make work without Herald.

Not the only for PVE he can use Jalis\Ventari as healer or Jalis\Shiro for pve\pvp

The plan is to get Herald unlocked, but I just wanted something to run interim.

In the current meta all power builds without Herald are considered inferior, but for Condi Rev…you can be competitive without it in PvP, give it a try.
