Sword second and third attacks are following.

Brutal Blade:
“Send your blade outward damaging foes and inflicting vulnerability. When it reaches its end point the blade will return to you. "

Rift Slash:
“Slash foes, creating a rift on them that explodes for additional damage after a short delay. "

This is what they should work with:

Assassin’s Annihilation:
“Siphon life from foes when hitting a foe from behind or the side.”

Anet can you make them proc with Assassin’s Annihilation? It is not the best option to go full dps since the 20% extra damage under 50% is by far the best and this is how it should.

However i can see the potential here for a tankier build stacking toughness and healing power, this combination would allow a tankier revenant to heal himself while engaging allowing him to fit the meat shield role even better, taunting and then holding the line.

Since the staff healing is rather underwhelming at least we could have an alternative until the staff works properly.

Of course to balance it maybe a 1 second cool down on the Assassin’s Annihilation would be needed to always heal to the fullest while fighting lined up enemies
but the gimmick got potential.

Would be nice to have the Revenant to be on par with Bunker Hammer Guards, bunker Eles and Banner shouting regen Warriors in the role of Tanks, so far the Revenant can be tanky but it is nowhere near these guys.
