Guild Wars 2

I was playing around with Rev in BWE3 and tried using axe as an offhand, but noticed that with a combo field it would synergise nicely with sword 2 for a whirl finisher. Seeing as the sword fails to have access to combo fields and finishers simultaneously it seems like a positive change to a skill that I rarely saw myself using. (Mainly due to the low damage/lack of reliability of torment damage on NPCs)

Trying to stick to the theme of the skill, and the theme of revenant it seemed that a dark field would work best for some sustain. (A fire field is already used on mace 2)

Do you think it’s a worthy change?

Giving 2 aoe blinds to my condi build would be fantastic ,

However Mallyx has a dark field, Ventari had a light field, and Jalis has some kind of field with that road but I never use Jalis.

I was assuming power based build so they wouldn’t necessarily be using mace swap. But yeah I ran mace/shield sword axe swap and would constantly fire field > mace 3 > sword 2

Whirl finishers are poor as hell in general. And Axe #5 field would be 1s long. I don’t really see the benefit.
